Your role, which you will refine and optimize
Your primary responsibility will be to assist our North American sales team in ensuring customer satisfaction by facilitating the introduction and integration of both new and existing products.
You will act as an essential liaison to other Genexis teams, including Product Development, Technical Support, and Sales and Marketing, actively engaging in cross-organizational discussions to ensure that our products are seamlessly incorporated into customer network designs.
As you will be working in the Eindhoven office, therefor remotely from our US customers, you will be closely aligned with our experienced network engineers from the TechTeam, enabling you to drive success for our US clients. As you progressively deepen your knowledge, you will enhance your capability to understand customer inquiries and the specific functions or features they require, thereby contributing significantly to their satisfaction and the overall success of our operations.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and eager to learn about networking solutions. You should have both technical knowledge and a passion for helping customers, even when their requests are challenging. With a customer-first attitude you enjoy to explain complex ideas in simple terms. You are eager to step into the driving seat in customer relations to become the first line of technical contacts.
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills are necessary for this role. Knowing other languages, like Dutch, is a plus. Understanding Dutch culture will also help you be more effective in this job.
Your skills and Experience
We are looking for someone who can present and explain technical concepts clearly and simply to both customers and colleagues. You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have 1-3 years experience in which you built strong relationships with customers. To be able to have a fast start you have experience with Active Ethernet, Point-to-Point, and Passive Optical Network (PON) topologies, or provisioning software tools like TR069. You should also understand the basics of the TCP/IP stack, and networking concepts like VRRP, VLANs, and the OSI model. Having previous experience in IT, particularly in presales or engineering roles, or holding or willing to obtain a CCNA or CCNP certification is a big plus.
